Keep out nosy neighbors and fashion a beautiful, natural backdrop using evergreens!
Vincent Simeone, master plantsman, offers ideal evergreens for landscaping purposes. Great Landscape Evergreens, the fourth book in Simeone’s informal series, provides great insight on how evergreens can be used to best effect in the landscape—as winter interest; as borders, hedges, and living fences; and as screens to block unsightly views and to offer privacy.
Simeone includes detailed entries for more than 80 species, including conifers, broadleaf evergreens, and some deciduous and semi-evergreen shrubs, describing each plant’s size, shape, color, flower, light and soil requirements, hardiness zones, and uses in the landscape. Beautiful photographs show evergreens used in the landscape. Planting and care instructions round out the book, along with a list of “Vinnie’s Top Fifteen Screening Plants.”
Make your landscape beautiful and create privacy with this great new addition!
